Task: Making Changes Based on Scrimmage Performance

Today was packed with advancements and challenges. We drilled and attached the intake mechanism onto the arm and completed the real wiring for the arm, marking an essential step forward in functionality. Although we faced some issues with the protective sleeve, we tied it up temporarily, and once the sleeve is in place, the setup will be complete.

There was a need for more extension on the sensor cables, so we added a redundant servo and sensor cables for increased reliability. The intake prototype we began last week was further refined, aiming to optimize performance for the next trial.

Beyond assembly, we focused on collaboration and skill-sharing. We created a blog post to share highlights from our recent scrimmage, helping us reflect on our performance and share insights with the broader robotics community. Additionally, we spent time working with our sister team, Iron Core, to assist with wiring and mentor them in more advanced robotics skills. By the end of the week, we had Iron Core moving and working toward their goals, ensuring a stronger, more connected robotics family.
