Meeting With LTTS Manufacturing Engineer By Pavit, Nailin, David, Alyssa, Fernando, and Elm

On February 4, 2026, our team met with a Manufacturing Engineer from L&T Technology Services (LTTS) to review our robot and presentation as we prepare for our upcoming U^2 Tournament. The goal of the meeting was to conduct mock judging presentations, where we would be pressure-tested on both our technical design and our ability to communicate our ideas clearly to judges.

We ran through our presentation and exceeded our five-minute time limit, though part of this was due to explaining the game mechanics to our mentor. We walked through Scorpius' full mechanical and software workflow, providing extensive explanations of our subsystems and the iterations we went through, then fielded a series of technical questions. The engineer challenged our design choices and asked us to justify our decisions, which helped us identify areas that need clearer explanations. We also successfully demoed Scorpius live, scoring some artifacts and showcasing our intake system in action. Overall, this meeting helped us prepare for our tournament this week. To prepare further, we will continue to finish the presentation and practice more to stay within the time limit.
